The CAI BayCen Educational Summit is back for 2025. We are doing something fresh in a new location! Join the BayCen Chapter as we provide education and networking opportunities to CAI homeowner leaders, community managers, and business partners. This one-day format will feature presentations geared towards homeowner leaders, professional development for both managers and business partners, and topics for newer managers.

Who would be a good presenter?

The 2025 CAI Educational Summit will feature HOA interdisciplinary education on subjects like: plumbing, painting, or professional development. Of course, we will welcome the traditional legal topics, but the CAI Educational Summit will provide broad-based and practical information across different educational

How to submit a presentation

Please use the form below for each presentation. Each presentation panel must be comprised of at least two speakers who are not from the same company. If the panel includes a manager, the manager must hold a CAI designation. All sessions are 50 minutes in length.

Business partners may submit multiple presentations, however, no more than two presentations will be chosen from a single business partner.

Topics should be submitted around one of the 3 areas below:

• Board Member Education – programs geared toward homeowner leaders and the unique challenges they face in their roles
• Newer Managers – What managers need to know to succeed in the CID industry
• Professional Development – programs for experienced managers looking to move up in the industry and/or business partners looking for skills to further their careers

Other new topics or trends that would be interesting to the membership.

Programs must meet the following criteria:

• Multiple submissions are welcome; no more than one presentation will be chosen from one company and the speakers must be different in each presentation. ​
• Submissions should include a speaker panel of at least two and no more than four presenters.
• Manager presenters must have a CAI designation.
• Submissions must include names of all confirmed speakers; no “To Be Determined.”
• Submissions must designate the appropriate audience: manager, homeowner leader or general.
• Please indicate whether the presentation level is beginner, intermediate or advanced.
• Please include a summary of the presentation that includes an explanation of its importance to the CID industry.
• Must be aware and willing to work with other panelists. Submissions are subject to change and the Educational Summit Committee may exercise its judgment to modify your submission to include other panelists. This may be because topics are similar or because the topics submitted need to include other disciplines or trades to meet the new standards and format for education at this event.
